Twenty years have passed since civilization as we knew it collapsed and humanity split up into opposing groups - have you united against or conquered them all?
Sheltered 2, following on from its 2015 fan-favourite predecessor, presents new challenges and more complex strategic gameplay. You must create and lead a faction while managing resources to face down threats both natural and manmade - such as starvation, dehydration, radiation poisoning or enemy raids which could prove fatal!

Sheltered 2's new Factions system is key to its success. Send expeditions out into the vast wasteland to form relationships or rivalries with other camps; trade resources so your bases grow together or engage rival factions head on in expanded combat system to expand your foothold in this harsh wasteland environment - will you align or dominate other factions?

Sheltered 2 introduces its brand new faction system: Factions. By forging relationships between different groups that provide your base with resources and support, or taking more traditional means such as weapons armed conflict if desired - creating relationships within this system allows players to build lasting alliances to help ensure its survival and flourishing.
Resource Allocation and Administration: Strive to balance the needs and wants of survivors while using limited resources efficiently in crafting what you require for survival, maintaining shelter equipment efficiently and maintaining it during crisis events to keep the group intact and functioning effectively.
Faction Leaders: New to Sheltered 2, the faction leader is one of the most crucial parts of any shelter's success, acting as their advocate and possessing their own special abilities that could prove fatal if killed prematurely - their loss would mean game over!
Unforgiving Wasteland: Sheltered 2's unforgiving wasteland will test you with starvation, asphyxiation, extreme temperatures and combat; every decision could prove fatal without the ability to respawn after making them.
Combat and Weapons: When negotiations fail, use all kinds of makeshift weaponry against hostile outsiders in turn-based combat to win critical resources for survival. Fight to your death!
Characters: Your survivors each come equipped with unique personalities, traits, desires and skillsets; customising these to fit your liking makes each faction member truly individual and distinct from one another.
Vehicles: Explore the Wasteland with more vehicles such as bicycles to pickup trucks!
