King's Bounty: The Legend

King's Bounty: The Legend is an adventure game featuring tactical turn-based battles and role-playing elements in a fairy-tale fantasy world of fearless knights, evil mages, wise kings and beautiful princesses. You control a hero through this world as they explore and lead an army into battle while undertaking various quests that can result in either great rewards or devastating losses for you and their character.

Gameplay can be divided into two distinct sections: adventure mode and battle mode. When in adventure mode, gamers control their character in real-time by choosing among various classes available at game start up - exploring an adventure map in search of treasure, fighting monsters and fulfilling quests assigned to him by local stewards. When switching into battle mode however, gamers assume the role of war chief leading troops into tactical turn-based combat on land or sea as well as in dungeons/castles or items! While heroes themselves do not participate directly, they may help their troops by casting spells/summoning creatures as needed by casting spells/summoning creatures from time-out of battle a hero may come into play to assist his troops by casting spells or summoning other creatures!
