Co-Op Play: When times get difficult, turn to your friends! Enjoy co-op co-op gameplay together in both Story and Holdout modes of the game with friends for increased effectiveness!
Narrative Campaign: Explore five stages of fully voiced story campaign mode to uncover Horzine and their mysterious history with Zeds.
Holdout - Endless Game Mode: Put yourself through an endless zed attack! From increasingly tough groups of them coming at you until finally succumbing. In addition, special weapons, power ups, and mechanics may come your way in this mode!
Visceral Gore: When attacking Zeds, not only are they killed but their heads and limbs can explode out like fireworks as their blood-covered parts fly all around! You can pick up these scattered bits as weapons of your own!
Immersive Environments: Five immersive environments await discovery ranging from high tech virtual training facilities to crumbling trailer parks - each one carrying its own set of dangers and stories.
Weapon Selection: Use an assortment of weapons ranging from fire axes and sniper rifles, through chop-slash-shoot-and-blast techniques, to combat Zeds with each level bringing new possibilities of violence.
Terrifying Zeds: Each Zed has unique tactics, strengths and weaknesses which you need to know if you want to remain alive in this hostile landscape. If you hope for survival you must understand each Zed's character if possible!
New control options: Now featuring Espire Control Theater as well as Free Move systems as available control options.
