Description

At Saturn Mining Simulator, you play as the captain of an independent asteroid excavation ship operating within its thick debris field and mineral-rich rings - our solar system's thickest debris field - to excavate minerals for sale at Enceladus station. Your job involves navigating rings, excavating minerals and selling ore at Enceladus station - it all lies before you!
Hire and manage your crew for support, update your ship or switch entirely if desired and acquire or update weapons smuggling licenses - but the core of this game lies within rock-hopping as a core activity - we made sure that rock hopping would remain enjoyable to ensure a great time as rock-hopper.
No one's destiny lies with you; instead, the story revolves around those you hire and meet along your journey, making every playthrough unique in terms of who or what becomes central to their lives - it's up to you whether to explore them further, ignore them completely, or embrace whatever comes your way!

Are You Tired of Fiction Over Science
Indulging more in fiction than science can become tiresome over time; here you will see that lasers don't become visible without some form of medium, sound doesn't travel through nothingness and every action has an equal and opposite reaction; thrusters expel gas that heats objects before pushing them away while reactors cool when propellant flows through them and radiators glow brighter as heat is added through pumping heat in.
No energy shields, teleporters and Heisenberg compensators exist here - no lightspeed travel, blasters or artificial gravity either! Instead we rely on fission reactors, thermal rockets, ion thrusters and centrifugal gravity as sources of artificial gravity - with hard decisions to make between equipment choices as there's no one-size-fits-all approach for meeting every requirement.
But the game remains fun to play nonetheless! All technologies used here are real and non-technobabble is used - yet all technologies remain real, which adds another level of realism for gamers to experience.
