About this Expansion:
The Last Autumn marks an inflection point in Frostpunk history. Showcasing Site 113's struggle to build their Generator before an Ice Age enveloped Earth, this prequel expansion broadens Frostpunk by providing new environments, laws, technologies and buildings allowing players to shape society and the city in unconventional ways. Leading an elite engineering group working on one of world's greatest technological marvels will require adapting your strategy according to ever changing circumstances - hope for the best while anticipating all possible outcomes...all for Queen and Country!

The Last Autumn offers players an immersive prequel story set in an unfamiliar landscape without yet-fallen snow, where players build the Generator from its inception, helping society adapt for winter's arrival.
Builders is an Endless Mode variant which introduces different sets of challenges and solutions, including setups and solutions not found elsewhere in the game. Two new Books of Laws allow players to sculpt society in previously unsuspected ways.
New threats and issues such as toxic gases or workers going on strike must be faced and managed, in addition to innovative new strategies such as labour union formation or outright manipulation of society. Treibish technology trees with inventions to discover or resources to acquire.
Construction of 25 new buildings such as docks, telegraph stations and labour union buildings must take place simultaneously to keep pace with economic development in this game world. Furthermore, new social classes including convicts (cheaper but more subservient workforce).
