Each empire now comes equipped with multiple new leaders from which to select, each providing additional starting conditions, family trees, traits and events to take into consideration when building and expanding an empire. Enjoy Sulla's Dictator trait or Khufu's ability to construct marvels at reduced costs at reduced costs or Nebuchadnezzar's rapid expansion for rapid empire building! New wonders open up exciting new opportunities during campaigns - the Jerwan Aqueduct, Al Khazneh trade hub or Colosseum all offer opportunities that open new opportunities during campaigns!
Old World - Wonders and Dynasties includes over 100 new events related to dynasties such as assassinations attempts, state dinners, interactions among historical characters from multiple dynasties, cultures, and nations; you're free to rewrite history from Nero & Agrippina's turbulent relationship to Stateira's murder! Rewrite your own chapter of history!
21 new character traits centering around new dynasties are now available, each specific to one character and offering exciting challenges and opportunities at court or on the field.
8 new wonders provide powerful bonuses and modifiers that can fundamentally shift your approach, from scientific benefits such as Royal Library to faith provided by Jebel Barkal or endless triremes in Cothon; each testament to human ambition offers new possibilities that you may exploit to reach greater ambition. You also encounter 120 historical characters.
