At the core of Septerra lies its massive Biocomputer, known as The Core. Seven continents with distinctive cultures & people orbit this Core.
An ancient prophecy foretells that Septerra's continents will eventually come together and orbit on one level - this being Marduk, son of the Creator. Meanwhile, fanatical followers of their wisdom and technology, called Chosens, impatiently try to force it upon all Septerreans, leading them into global catastrophe and ultimately endangering all lives on Septterra.

Meanwhile amongst Junkers is Maya who becomes embroiled in an ever-escalating conflict and soon faces seemingly insurmountable problems that seem insurmountable to her alone.
