Darkness Within' is an adventure game series inspired by H.P. Lovecraft. Players take control of police detective Howard Loreid who finds himself beset with paranormal occurring around him; these incidents lead him to believe his past holds some connection to what threatens to devour him yet again. Now in its second volume "The Dark Lineage", players once more take up Howard Loreid's position once more! Now Howard discovers some kind of connection to madness threatening to overwhelm his life once more!
